As of January 1, 2012 the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists (MBOE) plans to assume full responsibility for social work Continuing Education (CE) and Designated Provider (DP) review and approval.  It is our understanding from the MBOE that they will honor any CE and DP approvals granted by the NASW MS Chapter CE Committee. 

Any questions about the CE and DP application process that will be implemented by the MBOE are to be directed to the MBOE office, 601.987.6806, or you may check the MBOE website for details www.swmft.ms.gov.
